Police have appealed for witnesses following a crash on the A10 this morning, in which left a van driver was badly injured.
Emergency crews were called to the incident, which happened near the Southery turning, shortly after 6.30am today.
Police say a Vauxhall Astra van was travelling towards Littleport when it was in collision with a Peugeot that was travelling in the same direction.
The male driver of the van was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn with serious injuries. The female driver of the Peugeot suffered minor injuries.
It was earlier reported that a man had sustained serious chest injuries, while another patient was taken to hospital with neck and back injuries, but was in a stable condition.
The road remained closed until around 1pm. Motorists were advised to avoid the area.
