Active Fakenham is calling for artists to take part in town-wide arts festival
A vibrant event allowing people to express themselves is coming to town.
The next Fakenham Arts Festival is due to take place from August 1-24.
The festival will be a way for artists both new and established to display and possibly market some of their work.
Organisers from Active Fakenham want artists from all areas to take part.
They will be partnered with about 50 venues across the town and will be able to exhibit pieces of their work.
On August 24, a one-day exhibition in the community centre will feature around 25 artists.
There will also be a limited number of short workshops that will take place during the festival.
Meanwhile, a children’s art trail around the town with prizes will be another highlight.
If you would like to take part in the event, then these are the submission guidelines:
• Artists should use the form on the Active Fakenham website https://www.activefakenham.org.uk/new-fakenham-arts-festival-for-2025
• Artists are encouraged to submit their proposals by May 31
• Proposals should include a brief description of the work, an artist statement, and any relevant images or videos
