VIDEO: Film-maker makes documentary Discovering Norfolk about King's Lynn, Downham Market and Hunstanton

Historian Henry Buckton has travelled around West Norfolk to film a series of documentaries explaining its fascinating stories.

Henry started his journey in Downham and ventured to Lynn, Castle Rising, Hunstanton, Wells and Burnham Thorpe.

This documentary is the first half of a series made by Henry, who works with the film company First Take.

Mr Buckton said: "In King's Lynn we pay a particular visit to True's Yard Fisherfolk Museum, where we interview the curator about the history of fishing in the town.

"At each location we learn about the history of the place, its famous people and industries, and visit many local attractions."

The 100 minute film is available to buy on First Takes website, Henry said it would make an "ideal Christmas present".
