Post Office services return to Terrington St Clement when branch re-opens next week




A village Post Office is to re-open next week offering an improved service for the community it serves.

A new management has been recruited to take on Terrington St Clement Post Office which opens its doors at 1pm Monday, February 10, at the same location as before - 63-65 Marshland Street.

The branch temporarily closed in December 2022 due to the resignation of the postmaster but it will re-open under new management.

When the Terrington St Clement branch re-opens there will be new operating hours of Monday to Friday: 7am – 7pm; Saturday and Sunday: 8am – 7pm. This will provide 82 hours of Post Office service per week with earlier opening than before.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “This is an extra 12 hours of service per week than before for the convenience of customers.”

Post Office area change manager, Anthony Bayley, said: “We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to be re-opening Terrington St Clement Post Office. Customers will also enjoy longer opening hours than before, making it easy to visit.”

Customers of main UK banks will be able to access accounts at the new branch where services will include bill payment, cash withdrawals, pre-order foreign currency, postage, home shopping collections and returns.
