The Rose and Crown in Snettisham named among best 50 restaurants in the UK by Good Food Guide
A restaurant based in a West Norfolk village has been named among one of the best 50 in the UK in a prestigious food guide.
The Good Food Guide has named The Rose and Crown in Snettisham as one of its favourite and longest-standing restaurants in the UK.
The Rose and Crown is a village inn which dates back to the 14th century. It is described as having cosy corners, open log fires and a walled garden.
The premises was bought by Anthony and Jeannette Goodrich in 1995.
“After nearly 30 years of owning and running The Rose and Crown, we are thrilled to receive this recognition,” Anthony said.
“The real credit for the success of The Rose and Crown must go to our brilliant staff, headed up by manager Laura King, and including everyone from the great kitchen team to our lovely waiting staff”.
Jeannette added: “30 years and there has not been a dull moment. We love people and are so grateful to our customers, both regulars and new visitors who have kept The Rose and Crown feeling so special, relaxed, inviting and welcoming.
“We love food at The Rose and Crown, and good food is at the heart of everything we do.
“The Good Food Guide focuses on our seasonal menu of modern pub food, with a seaside accent, boosted by daily specials.”
