A1101 Welney Wash Road flooded again with 13 inches of water

A West Norfolk village road is flooded again, with around 13 inches of water on the surface.

The A1101 Welney Wash Road is completely covered by floodwater, with river levels at around 2.59m according to the Welney Flood Watch.

The group said, in a post on Facebook this morning, that they measured 13 inches of water on the deeper side of the road travelling towards Littleport and seven inches on the side towards Welney.

They advised motorists to drive carefully and respect oncoming vehicles if crossing.
