Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School youngsters are guests of honour at relaunch of Central England Co-operative store in the village

Artistic Dersingham schoolchildren who put their own designs on a village store which has just had a £190,000 makeover were guests of honour at its relaunch.

Dersingham VA Primary and Nursery School produced a colourful piece of artwork which now adorns the front of the Central England Co-operative Lynn Road store.

Youngsters from the school were invited along to help cut the ribbon and to see the finished artwork for themselves.

The revamped store now boasts an updated product range to better reflect customers’ requirements, fresh decoration, a new customer toilet, new customer seating inside and outside the store there is even ‘pet parking’.

Store manager Tim Drew said: “Our team has been so excited. The revamp looks fantastic and already customers have been making many positive comments about how it looks.
