Vehicle fire drama in West Norfolk village

A vehicle blaze interrupted a quiet evening for residents of one West Norfolk village last night.

Emergency crews were called to Old Wicken in Castle Acre at around 7.50pm on Sunday, following reports of a vehicle fire.

The Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said one unit from Massingham tackled the fire. The incident was resolved at around 8.20pm.

Later in the evening, Lynn crews were called to assist the RSPCA with an animal rescue in South Wootton.

The incident was reported shortly after 11pm.
