Villagers came together to improve their park by planting more than 120 saplings.

Crimplesham residents and parish councillors gathered to plant the trees and were graced with beautiful sunny weather while doing so.

The planting project came to fruition through Cllr Gina Ashman, village coordinator for biodiversity projects in Crimplesham.

Chairman of Crimplesham Parish Council Barry Satur said: “Gina has been trying to bring the village together to support her passion on this subject with projects like planting these saplings, a bug hotel and thinking how we could allocate parts of the village to nature and wildflowers.”
