(Trigger warning, contains pictures that readers may find upsetting)
West Norfolk and surrounding areas were still nursing the wounds inflicted by the fires of Tuesday today.
Both Wild Ken Hill in Snettisham and homes in Ashill village near Swaffham have seen untold damage caused by fire this week.
Drone footage captured shocking destruction to people's homes in Ashill with only the facades of terraced cottages standing caused by fire.
Wild Ken Hill, in Snettisham, has also seen upsetting loss of wildlife.
Project manager of the , Dominic Buscall has described on social media the devastation that the fire has caused.
He said: "It has been an immensely tough week for us all here.
"Our project centres on fighting climate change and restoring nature, so it was deeply devastating and ironic that we experienced a serious fire along the Coastal Park on Tuesday.
"A significant amount of wildlife perished in the fire, in particular mammals, reptile and amphibians, late nesting and juvenile birds, but we hope that many were able to escape the fast moving flames. A total of 33 hectares were ravaged by the fire."
"It has been an immensely tough week for us all."
