The annual People’s Choice award is now open – giving the public a chance to vote for their favourite.
West Norfolk is encouraging people to vote for one of West Norfolk’s Green Flag Parks.
David Pope, cabinet Member for ICT, leisure and public space, said, “We are blessed with many beautiful green spaces in West Norfolk and have gradually increased our portfolio of Green Flag Parks. We couldn’t say which is our favourite as they are all special places, but we would like to think that people who live in or visit West Norfolk will vote for one of parks so that we can see it gain that special accolade of People’s Choice 2015.”
To vote, go to www.greenflagaward.org The vote closes at noon on September 30.
Paul Todd, Green Flag Award manager said, “We all have a favourite park, whether it’s our local green space or a special park we’ll travel miles to visit. Following another record breaking year for the Green Flag Award, we are urging everyone to vote for their own favourite park, so we can crown one of these 1,582 special parks as the People’s Choice 2015.”
