A boarded up pub will be demolished to make way for four new homes after plans were given the green light by councillors.
Martin Crass has applied to demolish the Woolpack pub in Walpole Cross Keys and build detached four bedroom homes in its place.
The scheme is said to improve access to the village school.
West Norfolk Council’s planning committee approved the application during a meeting on Monday.
Objections to the application were lodged by Walpole Cross Keys Parish Council along with four letters opposing the scheme.
- An application to build three detached homes in Common Road, St Germans, was refused by the planning committee.
M J Steley wanted to put up three detached two storey homes on the site.
