A Harry Potter book night was held at Hunstanton library on Thursday. Dressed in wizarding robes or their best muggle attire the youngsters set about a series of tasks including making wands, golden snitches and a monster book, and sharing the wonder of JK Rowling’s unforgettable stories.

Possibly the most popular activity of the evening was repeating spells whilst pointing their wands at siblings and parents!

The evening was run by Lauren Thrower, who said: “As soon as I heard we were putting on a Harry Potter night I volunteered to run the event and it has been great fun introducing new children to these amazing stories.”
