A warrant has this afternoon been issued for the arrest of a man accused of theft and grievous bodily harm over an incident outside a Lynn supermarket.

Alexsandrs Kukuskins, 29, of London Road, Lynn, had been summoned to appear before magistrates in the town today, but failed to attend.

He is accused of wounding or causing grievous bodily harm, without intent, to Ann Banyard in Lynn on April 6 this year.

He is also accused of the theft of a bottle of whiskey, worth £20, from the Sainsbury’s store in the town’s Vancouver Quarter on the same day.

Prosecutor Jane Foster said a summons had been delivered to Kukuskins’ address on June 23.
