Weather warning as heavy rain expected to hit West Norfolk

Heavy rain is expected tomorrow (Saturday, November 2) with a yellow weather warning issued for parts of West Norfolk.

The Met Office has forecast heavy rain in King's Lynn from 9pm tonight with an 80 per cent of precipitation.

The rain is expected to turn heavy again tomorrow at 11am and 1pm according to the weather service.

Parts of West Norfolk including Fakenham have been issued with a yellow weather warning by the Met Office, with the warning encompassing most of North Norfolk.

The Met Office warn there is a small chances of injuries from flying debris. Large waves are also expected on the coast alongside a "slight chance of some damage to trees and buildings".

The service goes on to say: "There is a small chance that some roads and bridges could close. There is a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage."
