Repair work planned for Morton’s Bridge at Stow Bardolph




Advance notice has been given of a proposed village road closure to allow for bridge maintenance work later this month.

Norfolk County Council highways has said Stow Road at Stow Bardolph will be closed at Morton’s Bridge on Monday, April 28, re-opening late afternoon/early evening the following day.

The council has said the road will be closed during this work to maintain the safety of subcontractors.

A signed diversion route will be in place and pedestrian access will be being maintained at all times.

The work, costing £4,000, will be carried out by the county council’s infrastructure department and its contractors.
