Comedian Jack Whitehall pays visit to Eric’s Fish and Chips in Thornham

A popular comedian has been spotted getting fish and chips along the West Norfolk coastline.

It comes after Eric’s Fish and Chips in Thornham said that Jack Whitehall had paid the restaurant a visit over the weekend.

He was pictured with supervisor Leo Woodcock, and the eatery’s owner Eric Snaith said that the comedian was “friendly and kind”.

Eric said: “He just turned up with some friends and they sat outside in the sunshine with some fish and chips. A few of the staff were really excited to see a celebrity.

“Leo asked for a picture and he was really friendly and very kind to everyone and he really enjoyed it.”

Eric had heard that Whitehall, who features in TV series such as Bad Education and Fresh Meat, had been to Brancaster Golf Club before tucking into some fish and chips.

Whitehall’s visit to West Norfolk comes just a few weeks after he and his partner, Roxy Horner, announced that they were expecting their first child together.
