West Norfolk author shares literary advice at event at Downham Market Library

A West Norfolk author who has recently published her debut novel shared tips on how to become published at an event at Downham Market Library this week.

Julie Newman, whose pen name is J.A. Newman, talked about her writing journey and how she created her novel Where There’s A Will at the event on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for the library said: “It went really well, and the people who came thoroughly enjoyed it.”

She said Ms Newman gave writing tips, spoke about how she got her novel published and answered questions too.

The library regularly hosts talks with authors, with the next set to be held on Tuesday, February 12 at 2pm with crime writer Ali Carter.
