Duration Brewing at West Acre offers virtual tour and tasting for Easter
Duration Brewing based in West Acre is offering people who are unable to get out and about over the Easter weekend the chance to take part in a virtual tour and tasting event.
The brewery at Abbey Farm was founded by Miranda Hudson and brewer Derek Bates, known as 'Bates'. Miranda will conduct an online a tour of the historic site showing the production facility and this will be followed by a tutored beer tasting by Bates.
The event takes place on Easter Monday at 3pm in their barrel store via CrowdCast. The tour and tasting is limited to 30 places to ensure good interaction for the tutored tasting and time for questions and answers.
To take part in the tasting, people need to have the brewery's limited edition Mixed Six box and it is recommended they are ordered by noon Wednesday, April 8. Visit Duration's website for more details www.durationbeer.com
Earlier this year Duration Brewing was named in the top ten list of best new brewers by a forum which rates beers around the world, RateBeer. It recognises the best new brewers, places for beer by region and country, reviewers, beers in the world, beers by style and top100 brewers across the globe.
Duration became operational after a derelict medieval barn in the Nar Valley was transformed into a high-end brewhouse.
Brewer Derek Bates draws inspiration from nature and agriculture to produce “everyday, slow, agricultural and spontaneous beer."
