Burnham Market's Socius named 'restaurant of the year' in England at AA Hospitality Awards




A Burnham Market eatery has been named the ‘restaurant of the year’ at a prestigious awards ceremony.

Socius, which opened at Foundry Place in 2018, was revealed as the winner of the AA’s Restaurant of the Year in England for 2022/23 at the AA Hospitality Awards held in London and hosted by TV presenter Gabby Logan on Monday.

Socius owners Natalie and Dan Stuhler were thrilled with their win.

Dan said: “This is such an incredible achievement for the whole team.

"We are extremely humbled and grateful that the hard work that we all put in each and every day has been recognised not only by our customers, but by our industry peers.”

Natalie added: “We couldn’t quite believe it when we were told, to win the same award as some of the country’s best restaurants, it shows that our hard work and determination is paying off, especially for such a young business, and we’re delighted to be recognised by such a prestigious organisation within our industry.”
