West Norfolk festival vibe is back, at a distance

West Norfolk was the place to be for music fans at the weekend as a host of top acts took to the stage for a festival with a difference .

With the Covid restrictions having been in place for several months, it’s been a difficult year for entertainment with the loss of major events like Festival Too.

But, despite fears that live music would be off the agenda for many more months yet, a field in South Runcton was transformed for the Socially Distanced - Welcome Back to Music Festival , organised by Twisted Melon Promotions.

Stars including The Extons and Judge Jules were among those appearing during the three-day event.

Visits from the local authorities throughout the weekend ensured that all guidelines were being adhered to, and there were plenty of staff on hand to keep things running smoothly.

There were sanitising stations placed at the end of every row of “pods” and all the vendors had one-way systems in place.
