A West Norfolk football club is behind plans for a new community sports pavilion.

Proposals have been submitted to borough planning officials for the demolition of an existing facility at the playing field in Docking and the construction of a new facility.

The project, which is proposed by the Docking Football Club, allows for three changing rooms, a social club area, plus kitchen and toilet facilities at the Bradmere Lane site.

"The aim is to provide facilities to enhance the playing field and the wider area/community, and encourage activity and use of the building and the playing field and enhance the facilities that are already present."

The club currently has three adult and two junior teams.
