West Norfolk Greens hold AGM

Have your say

West Norfolk Green Party saw the National Green surge being emulated here last week when they held their annual meeting at the King’s Lynn Baptist Church, after the previous venue was deemed too small to cater for the growing number of supporters.

The attendees were introduced to Michael De Whalley, who has been selected to fight for the North West Norfolk Parliamentary seat against Henry Bellingham MP at the General Election on May 7.

The meeting also introduced five candidates who will stand in the borough elections.

Locally, West Norfolk Greens have seen their local membership rise by over 150 per cent since November and are hopeful of gaining seats on the borough council.
