King's Lynn's Live and Let Live and Ferry Lane Social Club honoured in West Norfolk Campaign for Real Ale 2023 awards

Two West Norfolk pubs have achieved success in a borough-wide competition.

West Norfolk Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) has named its 2023 winners of the Branch Pub and Club of the Years.

The Branch Cider Pub of the Year is The Live and Let Live in Lynn. It continues to serve a variety of real ciders for their customers, including a number from local producers, alongside a good range of real ales.

The Branch Club of the Year has been named the Ferry Lane Social Club, also in Lynn, which provides a range of real ales - as well as a real cider from local producer Sandringham Cider.

The Angel Inn, based in Larling, was crowned the Branch Pub of the Year.

Andrea Briers, chair of CAMRA, said: “I would like to congratulate all our winners on their achievement.

“The last few years have not been easy for the hospitality industry and they have continued to look after their local community and visitors to the area.

“Our pubs and clubs are a vital part of the community and I would encourage you to support them so that they continue to be there for us and future generations.”

Presentations to all three winners are currently being arranged.
