Downham Market business Accent Fresh inundated with requests for food delivery service

A family run regional food service based in Downham which extended its delivery service has said it has been inundated with requests.

Accent Fresh, located on St John's Business Park, is a fruit and vegetable wholesaler which supplies establishments such as hotels, pubs, restaurants, schools, universities and care homes with fresh fruits, salad, vegetables, prepared vegetables, dairy, bakery, deli and some dry store ingredients.

It said this week that the service will be available to members of the public and will operate from tomorrow, Friday, March 20.

On its Facebook page, it says: "We will go above and beyond to help everyone during the current situation.

"From Friday onwards we will be offering a delivery service to the general public covering Norfolk, Suffolk and surrounding areas. Orders will be taken between 8am-1pm. Please give us a call on 01366 386633! #accentfresh"

It has said today that it is receiving an "unprecedented" number of calls, but asked people to call and leave a message for a call back.
