Pupils from a federation of two West Norfolk schools have helped raise funds for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across the county.
Youngsters from Wormegay and Runcton Holme Church of England Primary Schools, within the Holycross Federation, presented a cheque for £400 to the East Anglian Children’s Hospices (EACH) from various fundraising events across both schools.
A spokeswoman for the schools said a total of 74 children and their families attended events such as a film night, a bingo night and a dress-up day to help raise the funds, which will help towards EACH’s soft play area in the new hospice, the nook.
