West Norfolk weather warnings in place with heavy rain expected

Heavy rain and strong winds have been forecast for West Norfolk this week.

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for large parts of the country including West Norfolk on Friday and Saturday.

A band of heavy rain is expected on Friday. The Met Office warns this is likely to be followed by thunderstorms.

The national weather service has warned people to expect a small chance of houses and businesses being flooded.

Then on Saturday, strong winds are expected to cause disruption particularly during the daytime.

The Met Office state sea fronts and coastal communities are likely to be affected by spray and large waves.

Warnings of short-term loss of power have also been predicted.

There are currently no warnings for Sunday.
