West Norfolk's Santa Run fun ends the term and fundraises for children's charity

Youngsters at a West Norfolk primary school raced around their grounds in festive attire this week in support of a children’s charity.

Pupils of all ages at Middleton Church of England Primary Academy completed six laps of the school field in their Christmas jumpers on Tuesday – their penultimate day ahead of the Christmas break – while raising money for the charity EACH (East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices).

Office manager Sadie Norman said: “It went really well, the children all enjoyed it.”

This is the third year that the school, which has around 50 pupils, has organised the Santa Run in support of EACH – which offers care and support for children and young people with life-threatening conditions, and supports families across the East Anglia region.
