West Raynham man escapes prison term after admitting child sex offence

A 52-year-old man from West Raynham has been spared jail after admitting making an indecent image of a child.

Gary Aucote, of Blickling Street, was sentenced to three months in prison, suspended for two years at Norwich Crown Court last Thursday.

The offence happened between July 11 and 18 2015 in Fakenham.

He was ordered to complete a 50-day rehabilitation activity requirement, pay an £80 victim surcharge and £300 in costs.

He has also been placed on the sex offenders register for seven years.
