Naked Kitchens of West Raynham takes national prize for one of its designs
A West Raynham company specialising in manufacturing kitchens has taken top UK prize for one of its designs.
Naked Kitchens has won a national kbbreview Retail and Design Award 2019, which was announced at an awards ceremony held this month at the Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.
Naked Kitchens’ Highgate Kitchen took first place in the design category for projects up to £30,000. BBC business presenter Steph McGovern hosted the ceremony.
Naked Kitchens's designer Louise Berry worked closely with the client to ensure that every element of this kitchen was perfect. She said: "We hoped that the beauty of this design shone through and the care, time and effort that goes into every one of our kitchens really shows."
Jayne Everett, co-founder and creative director, of Naked Kitchens, which is based at West Raynham Business Park, said: “Our Highgate kitchen gives you a real sense of our passion for original design and expert craftsmanship. It is a masterclass of working with some of the best natural materials – warm walnut timber and classic cool marble. We are thrilled that this kitchen has been recognised and that our designer rewarded with this brilliant award.”
The Highgate kitchen's custom cabinetry is made from rich stained walnut with sleek handle designs. The tone of the walnut was a big consideration for the clients who carefully selected the veneers for the grain pattern and depth of tone.
The original island has a black marble top with integrated hob on trestle-style walnut legs.
The awards are a celebration of the very best retailers, designers and manufacturers in the kitchen and bathroom industry. Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms is Britain’s best-selling kitchen, bedroom and bathroom consumer magazine.
