Rubbish shocks woman walking on Brancaster beach

A woman walking along Brancaster beach on Thursday was shocked to see some rubbish had been dumped.

Antoinette Eugster from Ringstead saw the remnants of people having had a picnic but left their rubbish behind.

She said: "I was walking along the dunes this morning, by the Creek where the seals are on Brancaster Beach, and was appalled to see that someone had left all the rubbish from a picnic there, just on the beach, which included a disposable barbeque type tray .

"How can people leave rubbish in such a beautiful place, including a highly flammable object, and when the weather is so very hot.

"It is a miracle they did not set off a fire, unlike down the road in Brancaster Staithe on Tuesday."
