The Chamber is here to listen to what your business wants to improve your operation

What You Need Is What We Do, and we are as ever commited to engaging with, and on behalf of all West Norfolk businesses.

Engagement is a two-way process, and as such the promotion and support of every business is key for your Norfolk Chambers of Commerce.

In our mission to give voice, equally we are also here to listen.

Last month I spoke about your wish for greater engagement with your business communities in order to improve the local West Norfolk economy and how important it to work together to make this happen.

There is incredible amount of activity happening around investment in West Norfolk.

We are busy creating a programme of engagement throughout the area, to celebrate the financial investments coming.

From economic productivity through urban regeneration, planning and land use; skills and enterprise; and infrastructure and connectivity – these are without doubt exciting times!

What better than combining our first networking event as a moveable forum for businesses to discover how the £25 million pound Towns Deal fund will be invested?

This Thursday Chamber members got together for a light breakfast at the Bank House Hotel, before going on to walk the historic streets of King’s Lynn, whilst sharing their thoughts with fellow networkers on upcoming projects.

It was clear from the reaction of our guests that being back ‘out there’ felt good.

It was a sentiment echoed by the 90 businesses who attended last week’s #TalkingTech21, our first flagship event since 2020.

Whilst the topics discussed were focussed on future-proofing and growing your business, one of the running themes was using tech to invest not only in your business, but your team. It’s all about Co.mmunication and Co.nnectivity.

With project funding coming into West Norfolk, so to is digital funding and innovation. Norfolk County Council has a strategy to connect all of Norfolk. It’s a rural roadmap to connectivity to help businesses save money, lessen their impact on the environment, achieve business growth and future proof their business.

As a chamber we echo the strategy that says, “We want to make sure that everyone in Norfolk whether residents, businesses or visitors, is able to be given the opportunity to take full advantage of the opportunities and benefits offered by digital technology”.

Good Co.nnections are vital, and we are right here working with you to enhance digital inclusivity and tackle digital exclusion.

Please do get involved at one or more of the events coming to West Norfolk this autumn, and if we can help you and your business in anyway please pick up the phone or drop us an email and let us know what you need to meet your needs.
