Time is running out if you want to give your favourite eating place a chance of being named as West Norfolk’s best.
There is just over a week to go for nominations to be submitted for the Lynn News Good Taste Award, which will be presented to the winner at the Mayor’s Business Awards in March.
So, if you’ve eaten out somewhere in West Norfolk which deserves special recognition, now is the time to tell us about it.
Today’s nominees are Bar Red, in Norfolk Street, Lynn, the Marmaris Turkish restaurant near Lynn’s South Gate and the Victory pub in Main Road, Clenchwarton.
They join the Archers cafe, of Purfleet Street, Lynn, the Baked Potato Shop on London Road, Lynn, the Carousel cafe on Lynn’s St Nicholas Retail Park, the Castle Rising Tea Rooms, Chilli Masters, of Norfolk Street, Lynn, Chloe’s Burger Bar in Lynn, the Congham Hall Restaurant, the King William pub in Terrington St Clement, the Loke Road Fish and chip shop in Lynn, Marriotts Warehouse on Lynn’s South Quay and the Rose and Crown pub in Harpley.
But, if you think there is anywhere else that should be added to that list, now is the time to tell us.
You can submit your nomination now by going to our website, www.lynnnews.co.uk, and clicking on the Business Awards tag. Your nominee must be based within the borough of West Norfolk.
The deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday, January 26 and the nominees will be featured in the Lynn News on Friday, January 30, when we will launch a readers’ vote for you to pick your favourite.
The finalists will be announced on February 13 and the winner will be revealed during the ceremony at Lynn’s Corn Exchange on March 6.
