The awards ceremony will take place in the Barn at Knights Hill Hotel, Lynn on Thursday, July 21.
Below is a list of categories including those that have been sponsored already.
Details on the awards' category criteria and sponsors are as follows.
• Primary School of the Year (sponsored by Klimatech): This award celebrates those schools whose dedication, innovation and hard work are making a real difference for their pupils and their communities.
• Environmental Champion/s (sponsored by Palm Paper): Presented to an individual, class or school that has demonstrated a commitment to improving its carbon footprint with projects such as caring for the natural environment, improving use of resources, reducing pollution or increasing environmental understanding.
• Pre-school of the Year (sponsored by Doubleday Group): This award celebrates those pre-schools whose dedication, innovation and hard work are making a real difference for their pupils.
This award also provides pre-schools with the opportunity to recognise the contributions that staff, individuals and teams make to the success and achievements of the overall pre-school environment.
• Inspirational Teacher of the Year (Primary): This award recognises outstanding school teachers who inspire in their students a love of learning, who encourage them to pursue excellence, and gives them the skills and enthusiasm they need to make a positive difference in the world.
• Inspirational Teacher of the Year (Secondary – sponsored by Stephenson Smart): This award recognises outstanding school teachers who inspire in their students a love of learning, who encourage them to pursue excellence, and gives them the skills and enthusiasm they need to make a positive difference in the world.
• Contribution to the Community (sponsored by Southgate Packaging): Presented to an individual, class or school for a service that benefits the community.
Judges will look for any activities, programmes and initiatives that demonstrate a real commitment to their local neighbourhood.
• Student of the Year (Primary – sponsored by Princess Theatre): This award will be given to a student who has strived to improve their academic performance and who has exhibited the most noticeable growth in their progress, attitude and discipline.
• Student of the Year (Secondary – sponsored by Lightspeed Broadband): This award will be given to a student who has strived to improve their academic performance and who has exhibited the most noticeable growth in their progress, attitude and discipline.
• Most Active School: This award will go to the school who proves that they are truly active promoting a high level of physical activity and sport coaching.
• Secondary School of the Year (sponsored by College of West Anglia): This award celebrates those schools whose dedication, innovation and hard work are making a real difference for their pupils and their communities.
• Support Staff Member/Team of the Year: Support staff are, in many cases, the unsung heroes of a school, ensuring the smooth running of activities so that there is no disruption to the teaching and learning and provides a safe and enjoyable environment for pupils.
This award provides schools with the opportunity to recognise the contributions that support staff (individuals or teams) make to the success and achievements of the overall school environment.
