Wind energy should generate jobs in King's Lynn
A Lynn business will create new jobs after winning contracts with Swedish energy group Vattenfall to keep more than 900 wind turbines turning safely across five countries.
James Fisher Marine Services, owner of Lynn blade repair specialists Rotos 360, and GEV Wind Power will export their expertise to deliver blade maintenance and repair up wind turbine towers across the Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden, as well as Vattenfall’s UK wind farms.
The framework agreement covers work on 50 onshore and offshore wind farms for a minimum of two years and also involves Danish company, Danish Blade Service.
