Police have appealed for witnesses after a driver failed to stop for officers in Lynn on Saturday evening.

The incident happened at around 6.10pm when a red Citroen Saxo made off from Hardwick Road and onto Hansa Road.

A man in his 50s, and from the Downham area, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and later released under investigation.

Anyone who may have dashcam footage of the vehicle involved, or who saw how it was being driven, is asked to call PC Philip Nash, of Downham police, on 101.
