A woman was pushed into a set of railings during an attempted robbery in Fakenham, police say.
The incident happened when the 50-year-old was walking her dog on a path between Lancaster Avenue and Queens Road, next to Millennium Park, at around 1.30pm on Friday, February 26.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said the woman was approached by a man who pushed her into the railings. He then tried to search her coat pockets before she managed to escape.
Nothing was stolen and the woman was unhurt.
The man is described as white, around six feet tall, of large build, short black hair and an unkempt beard. He was wearing a black or grey jacket.
