Woman arrested at King's Lynn Morrisons, police say




A woman was arrested yesterday evening (Monday, January 27) on suspicion of theft from a Lynn supermarket.

Police say they were called to the Morrisons store on Coburg Street at around 6pm.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said the woman had been detained by store staff before the police arrived and arrested her.

He said the woman was taken to the Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Witnesses have also reported seeing a struggle at the premises.
