An investigation has been launched following an incident in which a woman was assaulted after shortly after getting off Lynn’s pedestrian ferry at the weekend.
Police say the incident happened in Ferry Lane at around 12.20pm on Saturday, when the victim, who is in her 40s, was attacked by two other women.
The victim, whose child was with her at the time, suffered facial bruising in the incident.
Police believe the attackers were in a group of up to six people who had also been on board the ferry as it travelled across the River Great Ouse from West Lynn prior to the incident.
