A woman from Downham is doing all she can to continue bringing awareness about ovarian cancer and raising funds for charities Target Ovarian Cancer and Ovacome.

Diane Boothby enlisted sportswomen to wear t-shirts for Target Ovarian Cancer at their match on Sunday.

Diane said: "The Downham Stow cricket ladies team helped my awareness campaign and the great news is they won the day and won awareness for ovarian cancer.

"I would like to thank them so much.

"I am also looking for volunteers to help for an event I have planned in September.

"I have Pops Philpotts very kindly singing and we are doing awareness and fundraising at Tesco and Morrisons in Downham and collecting raffle prizes for a big raffle.
