Woman hurt in King’s Lynn street attack

A woman was pulled to the ground and assaulted in an early hours incident in a Lynn street.

Police say the woman, who is in her 30s, was attacked in Littleport Street at around 3am on Sunday March 1 when a car stopped in front of her as she reached Eastgate Street.

A Norfolk Police spokesman said the woman was approached by another woman who pulled her to the ground and assaulted her.

Three others are also believed to have been present at the time. They then got back in the car and left the scene. The victim was left with minor injuries.
