Woman seriously injured after Hunstanton Tesco car park collision




A woman has been left in hospital with serious injuries after a collision in a supermarket car park.

Police were called just after 3pm yesterday to “reports of a serious collision” in Hunstanton.

The incident happened when the driver of a white Vauxhall Mokka collided with a pedestrian and a second car in the Tesco car park on Southend Road.

The driver, a man in his 80s, collided with a pedestrian, a woman in her 60s, and a silver Ford Kuga.

The woman was taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries, and remains there today.

“Enquiries are ongoing in relation to the actions of the driver,” a police spokesperson said.
