Woman thanks Queen Elizabeth Hospital consultant with special gift

A West Winch mum has been so inspired by her consultant at Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital that a post she has told the world via a social media post.

And the message on the King's Lynn Mum Chums page on Facebook by Gabby Manning has garnered a host of likes.

The post showed a gift she had purchased to thank consultant obstetrician Salman Kidwai for his care and compassion.

This resulted in more than 200 comments from other local mums expressing their utmost gratitude and own positive experiences regarding his care.

Gabby said: "He is an amazing man and I would love everyone to know how well respected and well thought of he is."

In the post Gabby describes Mr Kidwai as "the most selfless man I have ever come accross" and that "nothing is ever too much trouble for this man."

Gabby, whose son Kenny is nine, is engaged to Brian Millard and at the time of writing the post was expecting a baby boy imminently. Sullivan ‘Sully’ Jason James Millard 6lb 2 at 08.55 on September 6.

Mr Kidwai said: “It’s the team that works and not the individual. I am glad I am a part of great team of midwives and support workers."
