Schools across West Norfolk certainly got into spirit of World Book Day yesterday as they dressed up as their favourite literary characters.
Thank you to everyone who sent in their photos to us yesterday via email and social media. You can see most of them here: 'West Norfolk celebrates World Book Day 2020' .
Among the schools taking part were Howard Junior School and Heacham Infant School.
Pantomime dame Kitty Litter visited Heacham on Wednesday, while Howard Junior pupils all dressed up as a range of interesting characters yesterday.
The school also had two people go out to the town centre dressed as Batman and Robin handing out free books to the public.
Elsewhere, the 12th King's Lynn Beaver Scouts visited Gaywood Library yesterday.
Tracey Clark, Beaver Scout Leader, said: "We enjoyed reading books, looking at story sacks and completed a treasure hunt around the library too."
All the children and staff at Phoenix Montessori Nursery, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, dressed up as traditional story characters
Marham Village Preschool also sent in a picture of all the children in outfits.
We will be getting as many photos as we can in Tuesday's newspaper but we cannot guarantee yours will be included due to the sheer amount of photos we have received.
