Downham Young Farmers will be raising money for a charity during next month’s annual clay pigeon shoot.

The club will be giving something back to the Headways charity, which supported a member last year.

Once again, members will be running the event at Stradsett Estate on Sunday, April 17, from 11am to 3pm.

Guns are asked to use fire wads only when taking part in the 70 bird sporting competition, with classes for men and women, along with pool and flush contest and the longest shot. Cash prizes for the winners.

The event will also include a barbecue, cakes and a guess how many balloons are in the tractor.
