Young male taken to King's Lynn hospital after injury on Norfolk coast




A young male was taken to Lynn's hospital after Coastguard teams were called out at Hunstanton earlier today.

The male had hit his head on rocks on the beach by the cliffs.

Hunstanton Coastguard Rescue Team, the Wells and Cley Coastguard Search and Rescue Team, and the ambulance service attended the incident around 6.15pm.

A spokesperson for Hunstanton Coastguard said the emergency services "made a plan" to get the casualty off the beach as the tide was coming in.

They added that the male was taken to an ambulance at Hunstanton's lifeboat station before being transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment.
