Two drivers die in crash in Mundford as police appeal for witnesses




A young man and a woman died in a fatal two-car crash this morning in Mundford.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on the Cranwich Heath Road junction.

Police were called at 7.05am after reports of the crash involving a blue Audi TT and a black Mercedes GLA.

The driver of the Audi, a man in his 20s, and the driver of the Mercedes, a woman in her 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed while police, fire and ambulance crews were at the scene. It reopened at 1.23pm.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dashcam footage from the time of the incident.
