Clenchwarton Primary School youngsters create special rosette to mark 80th anniversary of VE Day

Children at a West Norfolk school created a very special piece of artwork to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

Pupils in Year 6 at Clenchwarton Primary, a member of the West Norfolk Academies Trust, created a huge rosette-style collection of 200 individually coloured flags.

The youngsters were also asked to dress in red, white and blue to celebrate the occasion.

Some even sported Union Jack face paints just to make sure they were patriotic enough - and staff also joined the dress code.
