Molly bags gold in Downham Games medal competition





A youngster has seen her creativity brought to life after winning a competition to design a new medal for this year’s Downham Games.

Denver School pupil Molly Goulding, 10, found out she was the winner at an assembly on Friday.

A post on the Downham Games Facebook page said organisers are proud of the design.

Downham Games will take place on Sunday, June 10 at the Memorial Fields in Downham, between 10.30am and 2pm, with an athletics competition and a variety of taster sessions.

This year West Norfolk Deaf Association is the event’s first ever nominated charity.
