Have your say

I must agree with Chris Kerry. All Jo Rust does is continually complain about anything relating to the current government policies.

She is never constructive and seems to be blind to the financial mess the last government left behind.

So times are tough at the minute but that was bound to happen – we just could not go on until they bankrupted the country.

I have often wondered what she does for a living other than be a professional agitator thus contributing nothing to help the country.

My family have always believed in true socialism and been Labour supporters – in fact I am ashamed to admit I voted for Tony Blair because I was taken in by his rhetoric.

He did not represent the Labour that I voted for and was also more interested in following America and wasting millions on a war that was unnecessary which we can never resolve. And this against his so-called deeply religious views.

Henry Bellingham might not be our ideal representative in government but he is a better proposition than the Labour representative we have, who I understand is Jo Rust.

I, and many of my friends, feel we cannot vote Labour again and will switch to Tory.

We believe Labour, with Ed Balls again as one of the main protagonists, will repeat the errors of last time.

Only the next mess they create could be the final nail in the coffin for our country.
